India e- Visa

The electronic visa (eV) will be valid for enrty in India. Those travelling on leisure, short duration medical treatment, and casual business visit or to meet friends and relatives will be eligible to apply. The facility is available at sixteen airports including Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bagdogra, Bengaluru, Calicut, Chennai, Chandigarh,Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gaya, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangalore, Madurai Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum, Varanasi, Vishakhapatnam and 5 designated seaports (i.e. Cochin, Goa, Mangalore, Mumbai & Chennai. Eligible foreign nationals can apply for Indian visa online without going to Indian mission and to pay visa fee online. Once application approved, applicant will receive email authorization to travel to India. A print out the authorization email is all visitor needs to show to the immigration authorities in India, who will then stamp the entry into the country.
